Local Advisory Board (LAB)

The Local Advisory Board (LAB) acts as a hub for both Falmouth Primary Academy and Foxhole Learning Academy ensures that the Academies offer the best possible provision for all the children. They meet termly. All the LAB are accountable for data and progress.

Paul Wyatt (Chair)

Paul joined the LAB in March 2015. Paul is currently the President of the Falmouth Rotary club. His expertise is in HR and in particular industrial relations.

Richard May

Richard is the Centre manager for the Local Community Centre, Dracaena Centre. He brings a wealth of expertise on how to engage with the community. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Trenance Learning Academy (TLAT). He has responsibility for Safeguarding and SEND

Ian Robertson

Ian is a qualified architect and a member of the Falmouth Rotary Club. He uses his expertise to support Health and Safety around school and also has responsibilities for Mathematics, Art and Design Technology.

Parent LAB members

Scott Fearn

Scott works as logistics manager for West Country food. He supports the school with Healthy living and wellbeing.

Claire Smith – Executive Head teacher

Claire supports with the induction of new LAB members and is supporting the SEF process with the LAB

Betty Hale  – LAB member

Betty has considerable expertise in regeneration and funding.

Julie Marsh

Teacher representative. Julie is the teacher in the ARB at the Falmouth site. She has a wealth of experience in Special Educational Needs.

Sue Tym

Sue has a wealth of knowledge relating to Special Education Needs

Jane Alexander

Jane is Head of School at Falmouth Primary Academy. She is an Early Years specialist and currently is a member of the National Association of Head teachers Early Years Sector council. This council involves National funding and policy.

Matt Oakley

Matt is Head of School at Foxhole Learning Academy. He has a wealth of experience teaching across both KS1 and KS2. He is particularly interested in learning outdoors and the benefits on wellbeing.
